Anneloes van der Linden
Anneloes van der Linden, artist paintress, makes paintings on canvas using mixed media and acrylic paint.
For pictures involving mixed media sand, watercolour, pastels, textile fabrics, leaves etc. are being used.
She mainly gets inspired by human beings and nature.
Leaving from a figurative point of view and abstracting from there she builds up a tension on her canvasses. Bodies are of interest to her as long as they are reproduced anonymously. The colours that she uses are mostly warm and rich, the brushwork spontaneously. Sphere and emotion are of importance and give a special attraction to her paintings. In her point of view a painting should not be obvious but intriguing. She works in between the tension of perfection and imperfection in which an accidental brushstroke, some paint running out, a colour, a line or a dab of paint can be taken in into the proces.
Anneloes shows her paintings at exhibitions in several towns in the country.
She also paints in commission of a person or a business.
